Installing the OnePlus 10 Pro display requires expertise, and you shouldn't attempt self-installation. This installation guide is a summary, and actually installing the display takes much more effort. Please don't try self-installation without experience, as that can be risky.
- Please remove the back glass panel.
- Unscrew all the screws from the motherboard section.
- Open the bottom ringer section as the display's flex connects to the charging PCB.
- Disconnect the broken display's flex and connect the new display flex.
- Test the new display extensively and later install it on your phone.
- Please remove the protective film (if any) from the fingerprint scanner before installation.
You should never remove protective films or paste the display without testing it. Also, you can test the fingerprint sensor functionality only when the display is placed in the front frame.
